CALA

We've just completed an interior and exterior sign program for CALA, a renovation and redevelopment of the old Powder House Community School in Somerville. CALA, designed by Sebastian Mariscal Studio, offers residential, commercial, and community spaces including art
and performance spaces, shopping and gathering places, and a new public park.

The building's design highlights the Brutalist style of the school with industrial steel and concrete, coupled with floor to ceiling windows, and great open outdoor community spaces beyond.
